For the past hour nobody can post on my forum, including me. When we use the REPLY box or try to make a new topic, we get "invalid request" and if we use the Quick Reply bx we get "the username you have entered is used by another member. Please select another username". We can all login and send PM's but not make new posts or topics or replies. I've had a look at the tables in CPanel and I'm not getting any error messages there. Yes I think so Robert. I hope it's a simple fix as I know Jim is busy with the upgrade and I don't want to be bothering him too much.

I had a non posting user profile Robert that I edited the info out of (in CPanel) instead of just deleting the user, ie no username, password, email addy etc.

It was an unusual problem, I had never seen it before and the symptoms did not reflect the actual problem. I'm just glad we found it, I did get some good clues
