I keep running into this problem with my sites. Has anybody else had this problem before? When I try to bring up my site it will not connect and this is the error I get, Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) in /home/data1/public_html/support/databases/mysql.php on line 25 Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) Unable to connect to database server Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks. I noticed several other boards are down too. At first I thought it was only sites with the 1.12 beta software. But the the beer drinking board is working and they have 1.12 beta. I purchased the premium hosting and am running two boards off it. One is a private board for a local Union called http://www.carlsbadusw.com and the other is a forum for a city named Hobbs in NM. It is called http://www.lifeinthewildwest.com And both are down. The Carlsbad site has an error on line 63 and the wildwest site as an error on line 25. When going to other forum sites I noticed the same thing. Some had the error on line 25 and others had it on line 63. Maybe that is the common thread with some of the problems. Just a guess. For I know next to nothing about software or hosting for that matter.
